Anna Kuzmicheva, MA, Director, Business Development

Prior to becoming an employee of GCT Business Development Department back in Jan 2013, Anna held several positions in sales and customer service. In four years at GCT she has gracefully gone from Business Development Associate to Director of Business Development Department due to the natural persistence and ability to put her heart and mind to the great work. Anna is a multitasker, who contrives to manage existing GCT accounts, bring new business to the company, oversee marketing activities and participate in company’s strategic development decisions – all between traveling to meetings at GCT offices in CEE and conferences around the globe.

Since I joined GCT, we have expanded geographical coverage from 4 to 9 countries, broadened the scope of services and increased our workforce significantly. I am proud to witness this ongoing progress and make my own contributions to it, while growing professionally and personally myself.

My opinion is that I am lucky to have had a chance to join clinical research business in general and GCT in particular. My every day at work is full of new exciting opportunities to get, challenges to overcome, ambitious goals to reach – all of which would not have been possible without the help of my colleagues, who are dedicated professionals and just great people with many of whom I have become close friends.

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, Anna is an alumna of St. Petersburg State University with major in Methodology and Teaching of foreign languages and cultures. Concerning languages, Anna confidently speaks four, besides Russian, and knows Latin (greetings from classical education!). She is keen on traveling and never stops learning whether it is another language, a professional course or classes at a wine school. Anna is a dedicated runner and a true foodie going for new experiences with meals every time.
