GCT welcomes Margita Tothova, MD, Senior CRA in Hungary

Dr. Tothova has joined the GCT team this September as a Senior CRA based out of our Hungarian office. Margita is a Medical Doctor with over a decade of experience in the clinical trials industry. After graduation from the Comenius University of Bratislava Margita started her medical career from working as a pediatrist at the General Hospital of Komarno. A few years later she joined one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies as their local representative.  Once Dr. Tothova entered the world of clinical trials, she continued to gain valuable experience and soon became a countries lead for Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic.

Dr. Tothova assisted in the organization of numerous clinical studies across different phases and therapeutic areas such as oncology, gynecology, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, nephrology and other indications.  Margita’s duties as a SCRA include everyday communication with investigators and study sponsors to assure quick and efficient settling of arising queries; clinical monitoring, ensuring that patients meet the inclusion criteria, reviewing CRFs, advising and training of junior CRAs and many other often urgent site-related activities.

Margita is fluent in six languages – Hungarian, Czech, English, Slovak, Russian and German. Dr. Tothova is ready to engage in the clinical discussion of your local study.
