Mental illnesses are still often overlooked despite being widespread: 5% of global population suffer from Depression alone.

It is important to recognize and address the problem of mental illnesses at early stages to increase the effectiveness of treatment. Many treatment methods are available for mild to severe depression including therapy and medications. Furthermore, new therapies are being developed continuously.
